Garden Club Meeting

Thursday, March 26, was the local Scappoose Garden Club meeting. I had been asked to give a presentation on photography in the garden. I had a great time presenting my love of photography to this attentive group of women! I even managed to stump their plant identification skills with my image of the tomato flower (not an easy thing to do with this knowledgeable group). We should see some great photos coming from this group now--which is exactly what they need to show off their terrific gardening skills.

One thing that really struck me was hearing them say not only the Pledge of Allegiance, but also a pledge to help protect our environment and make this world a better place. What a mission to have! I love the idea that these women are using their talents to change what we have around us for the better.

Senior Ambassadors Wanted

Attention Class of 2009: White Dragon Studios is beginning it's recruitment of Senior Ambassadors for the 2008-2009 year!

You will be responsible for representing the Studio's Senior photography to your school. Outgoing, friendly, self-motivated--you must be all of these things. We want Juniors who will tell all their friends--and everyone else they know--about the great experience they had with White Dragon Studios!

Okay, so you tell all your friends how awesome we are, but what do you get in return? Senior Ambassadors will have their Senior portraits created by White Dragon Studios free of charge. (Hey, you can't tell someone about something you haven't experienced now can you?) These sessions are the full deal--two hours of capturing your style to show the world. We then provide you with a couple of images for your myspace site and create an animoto slideshow of your session. We also give you specially designed wallets with deals for your friends when they come into the studio. All these great products have our information on them so they know right where to come--you don't have to keep repeating yourself. They also have your photos on them--so we know who referred them to us! Important? You'll think so when you hear that for every booking referral you get a $10 credit for photos with us. You could earn your entire Senior portrait collection without spending one penny! Just refer your friends to us, when they pay for a session we give you a certificate to be used for your prints and products.
